Mr. M. J. Mohanachandran is an Indian International Badminton Coach who has produced many National and International Badminton players from Kerala, a state in South India. He is BWF,BAI certified and NIS qualified (National Institute of Sports), the premier Coaches’ training institute in Asia and has vast experience of over 25 years in the field of Badminton coaching.
He is known for spotting and grooming talents from remote rural areas in India and is equally well versed in coaching for singles, doubles and mixed doubles. He has specific technical training modules for these distinctly different events of Badminton. He is an expert in preparing weekly, monthly and yearly training plans, power point presentations of techniques, organizing motivational classes and offering diet and nutrition advice to players. Expert Multy shuttle feeder for singles, doubles and mixed doubles and also an excellent player in his time, He has national and international medals to his credit as team coach. He was the Head coach of RSC Kochi from 2009 to 2014.
At present, he is the director in “Play To Win Badminton Academy” in Rajagiri KalamesseryKochi, Kerala, India, to promote and develop badminton in India is his vision.
The success stories includes the formation of P.C. Thulasi (First Women”s National singles champion from kerala, Asian games Bronze medalist team member Inchon, Korea 2014) and Sri-Lankan open women singles winner 2014, Alwin Franics (Member of the Indian Senior team, and Bronze Medalist in Men’s Doubles in the Jaypee Indian Open), Arathi Sara Sunil (Dhaka open doubles champion-2013),current sensation M.R. Arjun (Swiss Junior Open and Yonex Brussels's Junior Open Doubles and Mixed Doubles Champion), are the few players which emerged as international medal winners under his leader ship.

Coach of Indian University Team for World University Badminton Championship Gwangju, Korea - 2012.
Head Coach of the juniors and youth Indian Team which won two gold and two bronze in Kudus, Indonesia - October-2013. India's best ever performance in juniors and youth competition.
Coach of the Indian Sub Junior Team which won four medals in the Badminton Asia Youth Championship held in Colombo in 2009.
Worked as Coach of Kerala State Team and various University Teams which become winner of many National titles since 1993.
